We started working with United Spray Systems when we installed an Automist system in our barn. We had a BIG fly problem in the barn, partly because the manure pile is close by. We did a lot of research into the various fly control options, but two of our neighbors highly recommended Automist.
We were so impressed - after installing the system, we went from flies buzzing around the barn to no flies at all in the space of 24 hours. Except for dead flies on the floor! We started installing and maintaining systems in 2006.
We have a Virgina Pesticide Business License which means that have passed certification by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on the use of pesticides. All licensed pesticide businesses in Virginia are required to:
- Maintain for a period of two years written records of any restricted use pesticide sold or applied.
- Maintain the required insurance coverage.
- Employ a certified applicator who (a) is responsible for the safe application of the pesticide or (b) provides recommendations for the use of pesticides.
- Notify VDACS of any changes in business name, address, insurance coverage, or change in commercial applicator(s) assigned to each business location.
All of our installation technicians are skilled, local tradespeople who are Licensed, Bonded and Insured.
